Join us for the Fourth Annual YINI Summit on the Health Effects of Yogurt, a program sponsored by the Danone Institute International and organized in collaboration with the American Society for Nutrition and the International Osteoporosis Foundation.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, attendees will be able to:
- Describe the role of diet and lifestyle in the prevention of diabetes.
- Describe the evidence on yogurt consumption and decreased risk for developing type 2 diabetes.
- Describe research on the gut microbiome and its potential role in the development of obesity and type 2 diabetes.
- State the impact of minor dietary changes on public health costs, using yogurt as an example.
